Update on Dexfolio Beta and IDO
First of all, thank you to everyone that’s been involved and has been supporting the project!
So why haven’t we launched yet?
Our initial estimation for the app beta was a bit too eager. There are rough edges and it’s not quite production ready. We’re working every day to complete it.
We thought about having an IDO without the app being ready (like many other projects that promise a product that never gets developed). The reason we’re against that, is that almost all those projects die out after the initial hype subsides.
Since our vision for Dexfolio is long-term, we need a solid foundation to built on top of. We want to make Dexfolio the DEX and DEFI hub within the next 4 years!
We want to have a product that has a good foundation so we can have fast updates and add new features incredibly quickly! Our goal is to be moving at light speed once we launch!
While a month or two delay feels long now, it will set us up for the long term success of the project. On the other hand, launching early would set us up for failure as we will always be playing catch-up and not be positioned for rapid updates.
Did we work on anything else?
We’re excited to mention that while we’ve been building the app, our blockchain developer has been very busy creating a full Dapp with LP Staking (which was not supposed to happen until Q4)!
Additionally, we’re in the process of building a robust governance system to turn the project into a full DAO!
Last but not least, we also announced a strategic partnership with Lithium Ventures (previously Early BSC), which will turn Dexfolio into a platform for other projects instead of just being a simple app!
What’s the estimated release for beta?
We’re wary of giving an exact timeline since we don’t want to miss it twice. We’re aiming for beta as soon as possible — one to two months. We’re onboarding more developers too so we can speed up the timeline! We should have clearer estimates as we integrate the new developers.
With that being said, we’d like to hear what you think! Should we consider having the IDO without a product? Is it better to wait until we’re ready so we can hit the ground running?
